The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship

The Goldwater Scholarship is awarded to college sophomores and juniors majoring in math, science, and engineering. Students who are competitive for the award have had significant research experience outside the classroom and have plans for graduate study and a career in research. The scholarship provides funding for the junior and/or senior year.

The deadline for submitting a pre-application for the Barry M. Goldwater scholarship this year has passed. The next deadline for pre-applications will be in October of 2008. Next year’s pre-application will closely resemble this year’s Pre-application form , which is still available at this site.

The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation awards scholarships to high-achieving undergraduate math, science and engineering students. Students apply in their sophomore & junior years. Come learn about process and how you can be competitive.
