The Morris K. Udall Undergraduate Scholarship

The Udall Foundation is committed to increasing awareness of the importance of the nation’s natural resources. Scholarships honor sophomores and juniors who have an impressive track record in environmental issues – from environmental writing or theater, to environmental policy or science. The scholarship provides funding for the junior or senior year.

The deadline for submitting a pre-application for the Morris K. Udall scholarship this year has passed. The next deadline for pre-applications will be in November of 2008. Next year’s pre-application will closely resemble this year’s Pre-application form , which is still available at this site.

The Morris K. Udall Foundation awards $5,000 scholarships to undergraduates who intend to pursue careers related to the environment, or who are Native American and intend to pursue careers in Native American health care or tribal policy.  Students can apply in their sophomore or junior year. Come learn about the process and how you can be competitive. Pre-applications are due Nov. 1, 2007.
